Team Favorites

Our team is composed of the most talented and dedicated individuals, and that dedication comes from people who really enjoy their work. We wanted to let you get to know all of us, and we decided the best way to introduce the whole team would be by telling you a little bit about each team member’s favorite part of their job and what makes us love what we do!

Jim: “I really enjoy the chance to get creative with timber. Designing the perfect elements for a space is my specialty. I also enjoy working with our dedicated team–their talents and care for their work has been fun to see grow over the years and I’m proud to lead them.”

Cory: “The freedom–creative freedom and the trust in my skills–is probably one of my favorite parts of working here. And this is more like a family than it is just a place to work.”

Erin: “I love knowing that what I do behind the scenes helps not only my husband Jim, the most important person in my life, express and use his inherent and incredible gifts for design and building, but that it also gives our team members a vehicle to express their talents and skills as well.”

Preston: “What I like about my job is the communication, not just between company and customer, but the communication between all members of the Accent Truss family.”

Juston: “It’s really cool being able to be a part of a project as it evolves from a figment of someone’s imagination, to a sketch, to a computer model, to a stack of lumber in our shop, all the way to a finished product in the field. Even though this can be a difficult process, seeing a well-done project and a satisfied customer is very gratifying.”

Mark: “I like it when everything is all sanded, finished, and delivered, and we get positive feedback that a customer loved it. Knowing we provided great work is the most rewarding part of the job.”

Kaitlin: “My job allows me to be really creative a lot of the time, and as a lifelong artist I wouldn’t want it any other way. I get excited about new marketing materials to design and prepare for–like this newsletter!

And now for the newest edition of
Sawdust Art…

We all really “like” our jobs. Tell us–what’s your favorite part of yours?
