Charleston, SC. We are hiring a timber framer/ carpenter to help us keep growing. If you’re

Responsibilities
Detailed layout of timber parts and pieces. Cutting of timber joinery. Fit up timber
assemblies.
Applying the ‘finished texture’ to the timber components (ex. smooth-sanded, roughsawn,
hand scraped)
Maintaining organization of tools, shop, and supplies.
Working clean, safely, and efficiently.
Qualifications
Experience in residential construction a good understanding of how things are built.
Ability to heavy lift all day.
Ability to maintain a good attitude under pressure.
Ability to read and understand house plans and detailed shop drawings.
Proficiency with standard woodworking and carpentry tools, and other equipment. i.e.
circular saws, chisels, power planes, ext.
An interest in the craft of timber framing.
Willingness and ability to learn new techniques and methods and to follow guidance of
other team members and team leaders.
Detail oriented with the ability to work independently or with a team to execute shop
tasks.
