Happy New Year from Accent Truss! In 2026, we’re excited to upgrade our BIM modeling software, Cadwork, to allow the import and export of IFC file types. This allows us to upload and export 3D models, streamlining interactions with builders’ and architects’ files.

Now, with this new capability, AEC professionals can include up to date heavy timber models into a single integrated model for clash detection, 4d schedule simulation, and enhanced project control. Similarly, with the ability to upload IFC files, we can model accurately and quickly as the project develops.
