“Quality is an investment in the future.” – Unknown
Too many times we hear people say “we’ll just have our framer or trim carpenter cut these on-site” or “we’ll just bolt some beams together”. If either is done than you definitely take an apple and make it an orange. And if you want an apple an orange just won’t “cut It”.
There is no comparison of the finished product you’ll receive. We have specialty precision tooling in our shops, all joinery cutting is done in our controlled environment, with a tried and true precision system that allows us to get the look and fit right and precise and thus exposed beams hand-cut by us will stand the test of time.
So don’t comprise quality joinery with “faux” timber joinery; you won’t get value for your investment over time for the relatively small amount of money this may save in the short term. While putting together a joint with screws only may have its place in a few select instances in most cases it won’t withstand time in looks or integrity. Proper joinery is crucial for strength and longevity. Our joinery keeps the timbers from twisting and doing other undesirable things over time ensuring you the look you wanted originally will still be there generations later.
